The shape of a football (truncated icosahedron)
A football is a truncated icosahedron: the 12 degrees missing at every vertex are what make it a sphere
This drawing comes from one YAML file. No shape was moved by hand.
Notes in the source (in Japanese)
IFAB「Laws of the Game」Law 2(外周 68〜70cm、410〜450g、0.6〜1.1 気圧)。https://www.theifab.com/laws/latest/the-ball/ (2026-10-02 確認)
